Seven Keys to Keeping Your Mind at Peace

Yesterday, minutes before an important business presentation (delivered on Zoom, of course) the Holy Spirit nudged me to quickly create one more slide . . .

He gave me a title and seven bullets, each based on scripture, to deliver to this diverse group of business professionals.

These ideas seem to be appropriate for all of us right now as fear, uncertainty, and worry about the future have permeated much of our society.

The title He gave me for this topic is:  “Thought Management for Trying Times.”

It’s based on the precept that God has given each of us free will to choose what we believe and what we think about.

Now emotional disturbances and spiritual oppression can rob you of your ability to choose what you think. I’ve learned that first-hand. We’ll address that in a different conversation.

Over the next few days let’s unpack the advice the Apostle Paul gave us when he wrote . . .

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”  2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV

Can you recall a season in our lifetimes when the people all around us needed to take control of their thoughts more than they do right now?

Me neither!

If you think this is a topic worth digging into, leave a 👍 or a ❤️.

To be continued . . .

🙂
